Intramural Sports
Besides studying for exams and working on projects, we also stay active by playing sports. Every quarter, we form teams and participate in many intramural (IM) sports for that quarter such as flag football, basketball, volleyball, soccer, and futsal. IM sports is a very competitive area, and we love to win! So, just like in our projects, we practice and train prior to upcoming games.
IM sports offer fun ASCE team bonding opportunities. Plus, they compel many of us to leave the lounge and enjoy the warm LA weather every once in a while. It is easy for any UCLA student to join our IM team. Signups are online at imleagues.com/UCLA. New members have to register under UCLA as their school and then select the ASCE IM teams. After signups, members can show up to our practices and of course, our games. Their schedules will be announced on our Facebook group, so be sure to join that as well. We encourage everyone in ASCE to participate, and as always, we are not looking for talents or skills; we are only looking for fun!
