The ASCE Civil & Environmental Engineering Career Fairs
Welcome to the Career Fair homepage! The student chapter of American Society of Civil Engineers sponsors a variety of events and activities, including career fairs. This year we will be holding two career fairs, allowing companies to recruit in both the fall and winter seasons.
• October 23rd, 2008 [Fall Career Fair]
• January 28th, 2009 [Winter Career Fair]
At last year's Winter Career fair over 250 civil engineering students visited with representatives from over 60 companies. When you sponsor our career fair, your provide your company the opportunity to recruit young and competitive engineers, host on campus info-sessions, sponsor a student project such as Concrete Canoe or Steel Bridge, and much more. We offer a variety of sponsorship levels geared towards your firms’ particular needs. All donations for ASCE are all tax-deductible.
UCLA graduates are highly sought-after and comprise many of the leaders and professionals in the industry. Last year’s career fair led to many students finding both full-time and internship positions at engineering firms. Beyond the benefits to your company, your support helps every associated student group, including these and more:
• American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE)
• Chi Epsilon (XE)
• Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE)
• California Geotechnical Engineers Association (CGEA)
These groups provide enriching opportunities for students, such as engineering projects, job site tours, exposure to industry, and a more integrated academic environment.
