The Mentorship Scavenger Hunt has been postponed until futher notice. Sorry!
Hi Everyone!
I’m Rachel. I will be your mentorship chair for the upcoming school year. First off, I want to welcome all of the incoming freshmen and transfer students to UCLA. I can’t wait to meet you in the fall. For those of you who don’t know what the ASCE mentorship program is all about, here is an overview:
The mentorship program pairs new members with upper division students to encourage new students to get involved in ASCE. Mentor and mentee pairs attend various events throughout the year including student-faculty BBQs, bowling nights, and work days for our many projects. Mentors can be great resources for incoming students. They can help with choosing classes, finishing homework, or even figuring out the campus. They can also give advice on social life, academics, and Westwood from their own UCLA experiences.
This is a great program for everyone involved in ASCE. If you are interested in becoming mentor or mentee or have any questions, let me know. I am still in the planning stages for next year’s program and I would like to encourage anyone who has ideas to please contact me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
